Calgary Board of Education - Technology Request Portal Replacement

As one of the largest school districts in Canada, The Calgary Board of Education (CBE) requires a multitude of programs and supports to meet the unique learning needs and interests of an increasingly diverse population. The CBE has more than 250 schools, over 138,000 students and more than 15,000 staff members. This results in the management of approximately 93,500 devices (Chromebooks, iPads, Mac desktops/laptops and Windows desktops/laptops) with over 480 staff in a position to authorize technology purchase requests within their allocation. The Calgary Board of Education (CBE) is seeking information on a software tool designed to enhance technology asset lifecycle management (Evergreening) processes across its network. The envisioned tool will provide comprehensive functionality, allowing users to view assigned devices, check eligibility for replacements, and select new devices within budget constraints. Key features will include authorization workflows, consenting to decommission devices and storefront capability. The scope does not include asset management replacement or service desk capability. This RFI seeks detailed information on potential solutions that can meet these requirements, as well as insights into implementation strategies, integration capabilities, and support structures.
