Description
Cold Lake Provincial Park is located approximately 2 kilometers East of the City of Cold Lake, Alberta. This popular park consists of several areas on the shores of Cold Lake, and includes front country campsites, day use areas, shower building, toilet buildings, potable water and sanitary sewer systems, a group use site, and check-in booth.
The existing shower building built in the 1980s and has not received any major renewals or upgrades since its original construction. Parks Division completed an assessment report of the building In December 2021. Based on the findings in the report, as well as reports of the existing operational and maintenance concerns from staff, Parks Division has decided to decommission the existing shower building and construct a new shower building within Lund’s Point.
