Workers' Compensation Board of Alberta - Invitation to Bid - Residential Home Modification, Red Deer, AB

The WCB is seeking a Contractor to complete a Residential Home Modification Project in Red Deer, Alberta as per the specifications and drawings contained in this IFB. The project will consist of the following tasks: - Supply and installation of all material and systems described in specifications and drawings for the interior modifications to the existing 1141 square foot bungalow with an 1141 square foot finished basement, and a new proposed 231 square foot house addition for an elevator shaft, with some modifications to the existing garage as indicated on drawings for barrier free accessibility. - Major basement modifications to create a secondary suite that will be barrier free accessible as per drawings. - Provide new concrete driveway and sidewalks as shown on the drawings. - Interior modifications as indicated on the drawings along with a new kitchen and bathroom in the basement. - Installation of all mechanical, electrical system modifications in accordance with the requirements outlined on the drawings. - Replace flooring as indicated on the drawings. - Minor modifications to the main floor as indicate on the drawings and specifications. - The intent of this project is to meet the “CSA B651-18 Accessible Design for the Built Environment”.
