Description
The purchase of additional 230 VAL150 outdoor validators is in addition to over 1,000 OBV VAL100s previously installed on buses to provide e-ticketing services to the Transit customers. These VAL150s are functionally the same as VAL100s, but with rugged design to fit the cold weather in Calgary. They will support fare collection and mitigate fare evasion at Calgary Transit.
