Parkland County - Negotiated Request for Proposal - Construction Manager for Wabamun Marina and Swim Pond

Parkland County is seeking proposals from qualified and experienced construction management firms for pre-construction services and the construction of a new marina and outdoor swim pond in the Hamlet of Wabamun, Alberta. The location of the work is just south of 51 Ave and East of Prospect drive locate at: Legal: NW-2-53-4-5, Plan / Block / Lot: 4108MC//B. The project site is just West of the Hamlet of Wabamun. This site includes an old Trans Alta canal with existing improvements. The project will involve significant in-water work, necessitating provincial and federal regulatory approvals. The project is currently at the 60% detailed design stage. Parkland County is looking for highly experienced and qualified construction managers to assist in finalizing the budget, schedule, constructability, and value engineering to enhance the overall effectiveness and cost efficiency of the project. The County expects the successful proponent to commence preconstruction activities promptly, ensuring that if design modifications are necessary, an IFC set will be ready for mobilization in the Spring of 2025.
