Leduc County - Negotiated Request for Proposal - Jubilee Park Campground – Operation and Maintenance

Jubilee Park Campground is located just 15 minutes south of Calmar on Wizard Lake. There are powered sites, non-powered sites and comfort cabins. A playground, hiking trails, swimming area, boat launch, sani-dump, and showers. Leduc County invites proposals from professional, experienced, qualified contractors, firms, societies, and individuals to operate and maintain the Jubilee Park Campground, day-use area, concession, comfort cabins, and other related amenities under a business model that both meets the standards required to provide an upstanding facility for public camping and provides an incentive-based opportunity for a successful business operation. Annual Operating Plans will be evaluated based on commitments and dedication to maintenance standards, attention to detail, innovation, safety, the inclusion of “value-added” components, and the value of the dividend to the County. The County hopes to garner motivated, innovative, and pro-active proposals showing enthusiasm to become the Campground Operator, in an environment wherein the opportunity exists for the Operator to create and build a successful business through exceptional operational practices, capitalizing upon improvements, and develop an entrepreneurial outlook through which to provide more revenue to the Operator and better services for campground users using business partnerships, initiatives, and programs.
