Technology and Innovation - eDiscovery Solution Request for Information (RFI)

The Legal Services Division (LSD), of the Government of Alberta’s department of Justice, serves as the legal advisor to the Government of Alberta, providing legal counsel to the Crown and all departments. Currently, LSD utilizes an eDiscovery solution for the collection and review of electronically stored information (“ESI”) to support litigation and investigative processes. LSD is exploring the latest technological advancements in the market for the collection and review of ESI to enhance and ensure long-term sustainment of these services. The primary users of this technology include lawyers, legal assistants, paralegals, and their leadership teams. The Province is specifically looking for technology that are tailored towards government organizations; however, technology tailored to large law firms will be considered.
