Alberta Electric System Operator - Assessment of AESO Connection Process with Respect to Indigenous Projects

The Alberta Electric System Operator (AESO) is requesting information related to the provision of assessments of policies and practices for equity and inclusion, specifically related to Indigenous groups in Alberta (collectively, the Services). The AESO is interested in learning about the Services for the purpose of : (a) reviewing and evaluating the AESO’s Connection Process as it relates to Indigenous-owned projects and the AESO’s mandate to provide open and fair access to the Alberta Interconnected Electric System (AIES), and (b) developing an action plan with clear recommendations to enhance transparency, inclusivity, and equity in the AESO’s Connection Process.
