City of Calgary - Request for Proposal - 25-2000 Site and Facilities Development Feasibility and Master Planning Services

The City of Calgary is anticipating continued need for development feasibility and master planning services for Greenfield, Brownfield, Redevelopment sites and facilities across the city that are required to accommodate City services. The City is seeking qualified planning, engineering and architectural consulting firms to act as registered professionals and provide coordinated development feasibility and master planning services; including, but not limited to, planning analysis, architectural pre-design, engineering and other services, for the development of master planning, and feasibility studies, to support planning for short- and long-term corporate facilities for The City. There are a total of two (2) categories of work in this RFSO, for master planning, feasibility, and technical services to support two different site and facility typologies. Both categories include work of low, medium, and high complexity (see classification tool in 1.3 of Appendix F. In either category, the scope of work will be developed on a project-by-project basis and may range from full pre-design services as defined by The Canadian Handbook of Practice for Architects (from RAIC) (CHOP) and Canadian Institute of Planners (CIP) to limited scopes for supplemental administrative, visualisation, and coordination support for pre-existing projects that need further development.
