Town of Devon - Invitation to Bid - 2025 Devon Underground Water and Sanitary Replacement

1. INVITATION TO BIDDER .1 The Town of Devon has contracted Select Engineering Consultants Ltd. to solicit bids for the construction of 2025 Utility Improvements. 2. PROJECT DESCRIPTION .1 2025 Utility Improvements Saskatchewan Avenue Laneway This project consists of approximately 125m of sanitary sewer and watermain replacements, respectively as well as full rehabilitation of the existing gravel laneway, spot concrete replacements, and landscaping, Moraine Street Laneway This portion consists of approximately 210m replacement of sanitary sewer, 40m upgrading of watermain to 300mm as well as full rehabilitation of the existing gravel laneway, spot concrete replacements, and landscaping. .2 This Project Description is for Bidder Invitation purposes only to convey the nature of the work involved with this project. Refer to the bid form and specifications for project requirements and details. 3. SOLICITATION OF OFFERS .1 Bids under seal clearly marked “Town of Devon – 2025 Utility Improvements” will be received via the Bids and Tenders platform before 2:00:00 pm local time on Thursday, April 24th, 2025 .2 Digital Bid Documents can be obtained from https://selecteng.bidsandtenders.ca. .3 Questions regarding the 2025 Capital Works and the work associated with it are to be submitted through the “Submit a Question” feature available on the Bids and Tenders platform. .4 The Owner reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to accept an offer which is deemed most advantageous. The lowest or any offer will not necessarily be accepted. .5 All work for the “Town of Devon – 2025 Utility Improvements” project must be completed before September 30, 2025.
