Civida - Request for Qualification - RPQ-2025-10 Request for Pre-qualifications for General Contractor Services for Small Projects

Civida requires general contractor services to complete various project scopes under $1 million comprising of capital maintenance and suite renovation work on an as and where needed basis. The location of work will vary; however, all properties are located within the City of Edmonton and surrounding area. The primary objective of this RPQ and the Roster Competitions is to minimize work completion timelines to better optimize Civida’s residential property portfolio. It is paramount that Civida partner with contractors that have established personnel, subcontractors, suppliers, and processes to provide agility to deliver on tight timelines for project work. The project scopes will generally consist of residential interior and exterior renovation and refinishing work such as but not limited to: a) Decommissioning and demolition work, b) Abatement work (e.g., asbestos and mould remediation, etc.), c) Electrical (interior and exterior) upgrades and/or replacements, d) Mechanical and plumbing upgrades and/or replacements, e) HVAC upgrades and/or replacements, f) Window repair or replacement, g) Cabinetry and millwork, h) Plumbing fixture repair and replacement, i) Interior and exterior doors, electronic access door hardware and systems, j) Flooring and wall tile replacement, k) Lighting fixture replacement, l) Painting and finishing, m) Ceiling systems, n) Interior and exterior doors and hardware, o) Exterior façade, waterproofing and roof work, p) Balcony restoration work, q) Site improvement work, r) Structural upgrades and/or replacements, s) Masonry and pavement, t) Accessibility and path of travel upgrades, u) Access control system, v) Fire and life safety systems, w) Waste management and disposal, and x) Other miscellaneous work.
