Civida - Negotiated Request for Proposal - Hazardous Materials Consultant

Civida requires consulting services for hazardous materials inspection at various Civida-managed properties within the City of Edmonton and area on an as-needed basis. The consulting services will support capital maintenance, renovations, and on-demand maintenance work as further described in this RFP. Civida-managed properties are primarily small apartment buildings and townhouse complexes with a few stand-alone houses.  Buildings range in age with the bulk of the properties built in the 1970s and early 1980s. Refer to the property map for all locations: (Google Map of Sites). The work under this RFP generally includes inspection and assessment of: 1. Building materials 2. Building mechanical systems 3. Finishes within buildings Assessment will include a thorough on-site investigation, bulk sample air monitoring, and analysis of all materials which may contain hazardous substances. Abatement work will be completed by a separate contractor as indicated below.
