Woodlands County - Request for Proposal - Heavy Industrial Site Identification, Analysis & Marketing within Woodlands County

Work involves the identification and analysis of potential industrial sites within Woodlands County. The development of marketing materials for these sites. With the compilation of a final, “Heavy Industrial Profile Report” for Woodlands County the final expected outcome. In detail, the scope includes: • Identify sites within Woodlands County that are suitable for heavy industrial development • Analyse areas where existing critical infrastructure such as roads, power, natural gas and internet services already exist and can be accessed or expanded • Identify natural gas, surface mining (gravel), geothermal and other natural resource sites that may allow for future development • Map existing carbon sequestration licenses in and adjacent to Woodlands County • Identify potential water sources for industrial use, including potential volumes, be they from natural aquifers, overland water resources or industrial sources • Outline business models that can be used to develop these locations • Refresh and leverage information from previous studies or other sources and upgrade it as per our current corporate standards • Create a “Existing Sites Map” in a format that follows the existing corporate guidelines and compliments the existing Woodlands County Investment Profile • Create a “Potential Sites Map” in a format that follows existing corporate guidelines and compliments the existing Woodlands County Investment Profile • Create Realtor style Feature Sheets for each existing identified site and potential identified site • Compile all relevant information into a Heavy Industrial Profile report with the Site Maps and Realtor Sheets added as appendices • Provide a GANTT chart detailing the timeline for the deliverables Land acquisition is excluded. The project needs to be fully completed by December 31, 2025 with the expectation that the draft “Existing Sites Map” and “Potential Sites Map” will be available by November 30, 2025.
