Grande Spirit Foundation - Invitation to Bid - Install Air Conditioning in 18 Suites

This project involves the supply and installation of energy-efficient air conditioning systems in 18 Seniors Self-Contained Suites at Sunset Homes, a Alberta Social Housing Corporation (ASHC) owned property managed by Grande Spirit Foundation (GSF). The work will span both phases of the property, 12 walk-up suites, constructed in 1980 and 6 apartment-style suites within the main complex, constructed in 1992 and connected to the Seniors Recreation Centre. While the Seniors Recreation Centre and main hallway in Phase 2 received air conditioning upgrades during the 2020 HVAC project, the residential suites themselves remain without cooling. Twelve Walk-Up Units (Phase 1 ):Supply and installation of 12 exterior condensers. Installation of cooling coils integrated with existing furnaces. All required line sets, electrical work, and accessories. Six Apartment-Style Units (Phase 2):Supply and installation of 6 ductless mini-split systems. Each system includes a high-efficiency wall-mounted interior unit, exterior condenser, and all associated electrical upgrades for proper operation. This project is approved under the 2025-2026 Capital Maintenance and Renewal (CMR) Program Budget and is fully aligned with provincial funding priorities for senior housing infrastructure upgrades .
