Onward Homes Society - Request for Proposal - George C. King Tower – Fire Reconstruction Project (Residential Units)

Onward Homes invites proposals from qualified General Contractors for the fire reconstruction at George C. King Tower, 807 6 St SE, Calgary, AB T2G 4V8. Work includes selective demolition, debris removal, reinstatement of walls, ceilings, finishes, flooring, kitchen and bath fixtures, and associated mechanical and electrical reinstatement as required. Operations will take place in an occupied seniors’ facility, so strict safety and infection-control practices must be followed. Intention to Bid due September 15, 2025 – 2:00 PM MST. Mandatory Site Visit: September 24, 2025 – 9:00 AM MST. Questions due October 1, 2025. Proposals due October 7, 2025 – 2:00 PM MST (email submission only). Target award date: October 14, 2025. Proposals must be submitted by email to tender@onwardhomes.ca. Oral, telephone, and fax submissions will not be accepted. Onward Homes reserves the right to reject any or all bids. Proposals remain open until another bidder has contracted for the work or 35 days after closing, whichever occurs first. The contractor must comply with all applicable codes and OH&S regulations while working in an occupied facility.
