Lacombe County - Invitation to Bid - SUPPLY OF ONE (1) NEW 2026 TRUCK CAB & CHASSIS

Tenders are invited for the supply of one (1) New 2026 Truck (day cab and chassis) for the following end use: 1. Summer – highway and rural road gravel haul with 15 foot gravel box and pulling quad-axle belly dump. 2. Winter – snow plow with 12 foot plow and slide in sander. 3. Models considered: • Freightliner Coronado 114SD or Equivalent • Kenworth T-880 or Equivalent • Peterbilt 367 or Equivalent The County has a unit available for trade. The supplier may inspect this unit/appropriate work orders during regular working hours. (at the County’s discretion) The unit is as follows: • 2013 Freightliner 122 SD, Unit 563 (1FVHGNDR1DDFA2568) includes Aluminum gravel box. Trade will be available after new truck has been built, (approximately 2.5 months from receiving new truck). The County would like to take delivery of this truck, FOB Lacombe. Expected delivery date of February 15, 2026 or sooner in 2026 Two sealed (2) copies of the tender to be received by 11:00:00 AM Alberta Time, October 6, 2025. Tenders will be opened at that time.
