Greater North Foundation - Invitation to Bid - GNF (HMB) - Housing Suite Renewal - 9931/9927 - 101 Avenue Lac La Biche

The project is a renewal of two vacant half duplex units in Lac La Biche to rectify moisture and asbestos damage, with construction repairs required to bring the units back to a rentable state. Unit locations: 9927-101 Avenue 1. Replace rotten plywood on exterior walls. 2. Replace any rotten studs and bottom plate on exterior walls. 3. Insulate and vapor barrier exposed exterior walls. 4. Replace drywall where needed. 5. Mud, tape, patch and paint throughout main floor and stairwell walls and ceiling. Wall paint to include Bonding Primer, Ceiling to include oil base stain blocker. 6. Remove existing flooring and baseboard throughout. Flooring has been reported to contain asbestos. 7. Replace and repair subfloor where needed. 8. Supply and install vinyl plank and rubber baseboard throughout (colour TBD), metal nosing for stairs. 9. Remove and dispose of electrical lights, switches, plugs and covers through main floor, stairwell and exterior. 10. Replace all electrical lights, switches, plugs and covers through main floor, stairwell and exterior with new white decor style switches and plugs. Light fixtures to be new LED fixtures. 9931-101 Avenue 1. Remove and dispose of existing flooring and baseboard. Materials may contain asbestos. 2. Replace and repair subfloor where needed. 3. Supply and install vinyl plank and rubber baseboard throughout (colour TBD), metal nosing for stairs.
