    Description
    In an ongoing effort to reduce the risk of wildfires, the Province requires a secondary fuel modification treatment of approximately 36.04 hectares of Blocks 31, 32, 33 in the community of Rainbow Lake. Treatments will be in accordance with FireSmart standards and prescriptions consisting of thinning, pruning, mulching and the removal of dead and downed woody debris with the potential for pile burning. The project will be as follows: Retreatment of approximately 36.04 hectares. The main objective of this treatment is to reduce fuel load, fire intensity and ember transport by the removal of coarse woody debris within the stand.

    Contract duration

    The estimated contract period will be 3 month(s), with a proposed start date of 2025/12/08.
