Civida - Negotiated Request for Proposal - Disaster Services

Civida is seeking up to two (2) qualified disaster services contractors to provide services for Civida’s property portfolio currently comprising approximately 140 residential properties and 5,250 housing units. The properties are divided into districts and include residential apartments and townhomes and are located within the City of Edmonton and surrounding areas. Property locations are shown on the following link: Civida Building Locations - Google My Maps and are subject to change. Civida’s property portfolio has been divided into two (2) service areas (“Service Area”) as follows: • Service Area 1 (Property Districts A, B, F, and H) • Service Area 2 (Property Districts C, D, and E) A proponent may submit pricing for more than one Service Area. It is Civida’s intent to award this RFP to no more than two (2) proponents. Civida in its sole discretion will determine the allocation of Service Areas among top-ranked proponents. The services will be required on an as-needed 24/7 emergency basis, requested through a Purchase Order issued by Civida. It is paramount that Civida partners with contractors who are client-centric, responsive, and quality conscious to minimize disruption to Civida operations and tenants. The successful contractor(s) will be the primary contractor for the allocated Service Area; however, Civida reserves the right to issue Purchase Orders to both primary contractors during high demand periods. Proponents shall refer to Appendix E – Scope of Work, attached hereto, that provides scope of work details for the work to be undertaken by the successful contractor(s). Contract term will be two (2) years, with option to extend for two (2) additional terms of two (2) years each.
