Alberta Electric System Operator - Request for Proposal - RFP-Production Cost Modelling Enhancement

The AESO is seeking to enhance its Production Cost Modelling to address new requirements informed by the adoption of the Optimal Transmission Planning (“OTP”) framework and the Restructured Energy Market (“REM”). This RFP is an invitation by the AESO to prospective Bidders to submit proposals for the provision of an off-the-shelf tool (the “Product”) and related maintenance and support services (the “Services”) for a five-year term that will enable the AESO’s market simulation system to better reflect grid behavior and calculate the benefits of transmission development for OTP.
