Project Description: Overview of the Green Line LRT - SE Project The City is developing a new light rail transit line as part of the Green Line LRT Program which runs from Shepard in the southeast to the Event Centre/Grand Central Station in the north. Overview of the Project: The planned 114 Avenue and Barlow Trail elevated guideway spans 114th Avenue and Barlow Trail between 35 Street SE and 116th Avenue SE. The scope of work is comprised of but not limited to the following: A. Single Elevated Guideway at 114 Ave / Barlow Trail (approximately 570m) including: I. Abutments II. Piers III. Straddle Bents IV. Pre-cast Girders V. Bridge Deck VI. Excluding Piling B. Construction of the MSE (Mechanically Stabilized Earth) Walls for the approaches to the guideway C. Civil works including drainage and grading works. D. Temporary work includes all site management responsibilities as required to deliver permanent work, including environmental works where applicable. E. Coordination with shallow utilities. I. Interface with the pile foundation and roadway contractor will be limited to the following completed and transferred work items: II. Construction of pile foundations for the elevated guideway piers. III. Roadway work affected by pile foundation construction. IV. Rehabilitation and grading of alignment property impacted by pile foundation activities. V. Utilities.
