Description
For the primary purpose of wildfire suppression, the Province requires the services of Air Attack Officers within the province of Alberta for a three year term commencing in March 2026. Successful Proponents will be assigned a shift schedule prior to the start of each Fire Season for the term of the Contract. There is no guarantee of the number of days in each Fire Season.
The Province may accept Proponents who do not currently hold Air Attack Officer certification, provided that they meet the minimum experience requirements and are willing to complete the required training. The Province will coordinate and deliver the necessary training.
**Multiple Contracts may be awarded**
Notice: The Government of Alberta offices will be closed from December 24, 2025 to January 1, 2026. Responses to any questions or clarifications related to this RFP will be provided on or after January 2, 2026.
Contract duration
The estimated contract period will be 34 month(s), with a proposed start date of 2026/03/01.
