Description
The City of Edmonton is hiring a consultant for a project titled Measuring Energy
Poverty in Edmonton: Baseline Assessment and Action Plan (the “Project”), work
that is required for the City to participate in the GCoM’s EAPP and climate activation
efforts to effectively alleviate energy poverty for marginalized Edmontonians. The Project consists of the following distinct but interconnected phases to be delivered by the
consultant:
1. Develop an Energy Poverty Indicator Framework and Assessment
Methodology that showcases Edmonton’s current efforts and leverages industry
best practices
2. Complete a Baseline Assessment of Energy Poverty in Edmonton, by
implementing the methodology and analysing the findings against the indicators
3. If applicable, develop an Energy Poverty Reduction Target and Action Plan
that provides a roadmap of projects that, if implemented, would alleviate energy
poverty. (Optional)
Contract duration
The estimated contract period will be 20 month(s), with a proposed start date of 2026/02/13.
