Rocky View County - Pre-qualification Request - RFPQ 26-004 Maintenance Overlay Program 2026-2028_IG_Final

Rocky View County (County) is nestled at the base of the foothills, just east of the Rocky Mountains, and encompasses areas to the north, east, and west of the City of Calgary. Its varied landscape consists of prairies, rolling foothills, and spectacular mountain views. It has numerous farms, small acreages, recreation destinations, commercial developments, natural resource extraction sites, and some light industry relating to the oil and gas sector. It envelops several smaller urban centers, such as the Hamlets of Bragg Creek, Balzac, and Kathryn, as well as the communities of Springbank and Bearspaw. The County is seeking Submissions from Contractors interested in becoming pre-qualified to bid on the Maintenance Overlay Program for the next three (3) years. If a Contractor is pre-qualified as a result of submitting the necessary documents to this RFPQ and being accepted by Rocky View County to do the work described in this RFPQ, that company will be accepted to receive the Tender package(s) and be able to bid on work for the 2026, 2027, and 2028 Maintenance Overlay Programs. All Contractors that do not pre-qualify for the Maintenance Overlay Program in 2026 under this RFPQ will not be allowed to apply for pre-qualification in 2027 and 2028. Rocky View County, in its sole and unfettered discretion, has the right to disqualify any contractor from the pre-qualification list at any time and for any reason prior to the distribution of the tender package.
