Alberta Electric System Operator - Request for Proposal - Fairness Advisory Services - FFR+ Procurement

The Alberta Electric System Operator (AESO) is seeking proposals from qualified proponents to provide independent Fairness Advisory Services in connection with the AESO’s Fast Frequency Response Plus (FFR+) Procurement. The selected Fairness Advisor will act as an independent observer and advisor to ensure that the development, implementation, and execution of the procurement process is conducted in a fair, transparent, and impartial manner. The services are expected to include, but are not limited to: - Providing independent oversight of procurement documentation and evaluation processes - Advising the AESO on fairness considerations throughout the procurement lifecycle - Monitoring interactions with proponents and stakeholders - Providing fairness attestations and reports as required The AESO anticipates entering into an agreement for a term of up to 24 months, unless otherwise extended.
