County of Wetaskiwin No. 10 - Invitation to Bid - Bridge File 8525, Demolition, Bridge Culvert Installation and Other Work

Work shall include the supply and installation of a new bridge culvert structure over a Tributary to Maskwa Creek, located 4.7 km west of Brightview (NW 12-46-26 W4M). The Contractor shall install a twin 1.80 m diameter CSP culvert by 31 m invert length as per the Design Sketches and Section 18 of the Standard Specifications for Bridge Construction. The culvert will be located on a 25 degree LHF skew to the local road, centered at Station 5+555.00. The Scope of the Work includes, but is not limited to, the following: − Traffic accommodation − Site isolation, turbidity monitoring, and fish capture and release − Demolition and disposal of bridge structures − Excavation, including supply and placement of geotextile filter fabric − Supply and assembly of culvert materials − Backfill, including backfill material testing − Heavy rock riprap erosion protection − Roadway work − Permanent environmental protection devices
