Camrose County - Request for Proposal - Request for Proposal 2026 Water Master Plan

Camrose County (the County) is seeking professional services for the process of development of a Water Master Plan (WMP). To ensure long term, efficient, economical, and sustainable water servicing for existing and future development, Camrose County is seeking proposals from qualified engineering consultants to complete a comprehensive Water Master Plan (WMP). The WMP will evaluate the capacity, condition, and performance of all County operated water transmission and distribution systems under current and future demand scenarios and will identify servicing strategies to support projected growth within existing communities, unserved areas, rural residential subdivisions, and industrial subdivisions. The resulting plan will guide future infrastructure investment, financial planning, and land use decisions, ensuring that municipal water infrastructure is planned effectively to meet both present and long term servicing needs. The WMP will provide the following. • Confirm the performance, condition, and capacity of all County operated water systems under current and projected future demands. • Analyze servicing implications for future growth in existing communities and expansion into new residential, commercial, and industrial areas. • Provide modeling of the existing and future water networks using modern hydraulic modelling software. • Work with Camrose County administration and Council to deliver a capital plan with cost estimates, phasing strategies, and triggers for future upgrades. The final WMP will guide municipal budgeting, asset management, infrastructure planning, and development decision making for the next 25-50 years.
