Town of Falher - Invitation to Bid - TOWN OF FALHER SANITARY SEWER TRUNK MAIN REPLACEMENT &WATER SYSTEM IMPROVEMENTS - 2026

SEALED TENDERS, marked “Town of Falher; Sanitary Sewer Trunk Main Replacement & Water System Improvements - 2026” will be received until 3:00 P.M., Local Time, on Wednesday, April 29, 2026 at the office of Velocity Engineering Inc., #3, 8909 – 96 Street, Peace River Alberta. Tender submission via email to the Engineering Consultant will also be permitted. Upon the request of the Engineer the Original Tender submission documents must be delivered to the office of the Engineer. The documents must be received within five (5) business days of the request. Tender submissions via email must be verified by the Tendering Contractor via telephone prior to 3:00 P.M. the same day. The work consists of the following approximate quantities: - Sanitary Sewer Main Replacement 202 m. - Sanitary Sewer Manholes (2 units) 12 v.m. - Watermain Replacements 214 m. - Watermain Valves 7 units - Water and Sanitary Sewer Services 6 units - Road Restoration to Gravel Standard A Digital Copy of the Plans and Specifications will be provided upon request. Hard Copies may be obtained from the office of Velocity Engineering Inc. upon deposit of $100.00 in cash or cheque made payable to the Engineer. The deposit will be refunded if the Documents are returned in good condition as per the terms indicated in the instructions to Tenderers. Tenders must be accompanied by a Certified Cheque or Bid Bond in the amount of Ten Percent (10%) of the Tender Price, made payable to the Owner, and a written Consent of Surety Form in the amount of One Hundred Percent (100%) of the Contract Sum. A Performance Guaranty and Maintenance Bond, and a Labour and Materials Payment Bond, each in an amount equal to Fifty Percent (50%) of the Contract Sum, will be required from the successful bidder. The lowest or any Tender will not necessarily be accepted.
