Description
The City of Calgary is seeking to purchase engine‑driven arc welders to support fabrication, repair, and maintenance activities. The welders will be used by the Fleet and Inventory Fabrication Shop for both in‑house work and field operations at various City sites.
The City intends to purchase three (3) types of arc welders in accordance with the specifications outlined in this RFQ, including all required factory‑installed options and accessories. The requested units are intended to provide reliable welding power, auxiliary power, and integrated controls suitable for mobile and stationary applications.
Schedule A: Miller Trailblazer 330 – Gas Engine Driven Welder
Schedule B: Miller Big Blue® 800 Duo Air Pak with Wireless Interface Control with air screw compressor
Schedule C: Miller Big Blue® 400 Pro –Diesel Engine-Driven
Contract duration
The estimated contract period will be 48 month(s), with a proposed start date of 2026/07/01.
