University of Calgary - Request for Proposal - Content Developer - Multisensory Interactive Theatre

The University of Calgary (UCalgary) requires a Content Developer for a complete multisensory extended reality (XR) system. The Content Developer should provide a platform that support immersive, interactive, and research driven experiences integrating visual, auditory, olfactory and other sensory modalities. The expected system should include virtual reality (VR) and augmented reality (AR) hardware and software. The purchase of the hardware that is required for this system will be purchased by the UCalgary team, they will work with the winning Proponents on what equipment and hardware is required. This system is required for CFI funded research project entitled Multisensory Storytelling Research Studio. The estimated budget for this project is $125,000.00 to $190,000.00 CAD.
