Town of Fox Creek - Request for Proposal - Operation of the Fox Creek Greenview Multiplex Concession

The Town is inviting proposals for the operation of the Concession and Smoothie Bar (if interested) located in the Fox Creek Greenview Multiplex for a term of three years. The Town is seeking proposals from qualified operators to provide concession services within the Fox Creek Greenview Multiplex. The objective of this project is to establish a reliable, high quality, and customer focused concession operation that enhances the overall experience for facility users, including families, athletes, and event participants. The successful proponent will be responsible for supplying and operating a full service concession that delivers family friendly food, beverages, and snacks suitable for a wide variety of uses, including hockey games, tournaments, birthday parties, day camps, and other community events. The operation is expected to be responsive, flexible, and capable of adapting to fluctuating demand levels throughout the year. The Fox Creek Greenview Multiplex is a key community hub that sees over 80,000 visitors annually, hosting a wide range of recreational programming, events, and activities. The concession operation plays an important role in supporting these users and enhancing the overall visitor experience. The available concession space includes: • A 485 sq. ft. fully equipped kitchen, and • A 1,200 sq. ft. seating area, providing ample space for patrons during both regular programming and high volume events. The following equipment and furnishings will be included as part of the lease agreement: • Bunn coffee and hot drink systems • Range with two open burners • 24” fry top • Deep fryer • Freezer • Cooler • Work top cooler • Warming cabinet • Rapid cook oven • 14 tables and 56 chairs • 4 stainless steel tables • 4 prep coolers • 2 panini presses • 3 commercial blenders • 1 ice cream freezer • 1 charbroiler grill top • 1 chest freezer • 1 pop cooler • 1 microwave • 1 hotdog roller This existing infrastructure provides a strong foundation for a fully operational concession service and allows proponents to focus on delivering quality food and service from day one. The Company shall provide all products, services, and operational requirements necessary to deliver a successful concession service, including but not limited to: • Providing quality, family style concession products, meals, snacks, and beverages at reasonable and accessible prices • Delivering a high quality customer service experience, including efficient product service, organization, and sanitary waste disposal • Maintaining a clean, safe, and sanitary facility, including kitchen areas, service counters, seating areas, and equipment, in compliance with all Town, Provincial, and Federal regulations • Managing all aspects of operations, including ordering, purchasing, inventory control, food preparation, service, and waste management • Ensuring the operation is reliable, responsible, and responsive to the needs of patrons and facility users • Providing a quick service, family friendly food offering that meets the needs of a busy recreational facility and supports high volume events. The successful operator will be expected to demonstrate a strong understanding of concession operations within a multi use recreation facility. This includes the ability to: • Manage daily operations efficiently during both regular programming and peak demand periods • Maintain consistent service standards during high traffic times such as games, tournaments, and special events • Provide a welcoming and enjoyable concession environment that enhances the overall atmosphere of the Multiplex
