Description
The City of Calgary is seeking a vendor to supply a turn key coning truck. The coning truck “unit” is a specialized traffic control device used to safely and efficiently deploy and retrieve traffic cones for lane closures and work zones. By allowing operators to place cones directly from the truck rather than on foot, it significantly reduces worker exposure to live traffic while improving setup speed, consistency, and overall operational safety. Coning trucks are commonly used for road maintenance, construction activities, and incident response to help maintain safe traffic flow and protect both workers and motorists.

The estimated contract period will be 36 month(s), with a proposed start date of 2026/08/01.
