    Description
PROJECT BACKGROUND: Strathcona Science Provincial Park has two existing underground water lines that require capping. One of these lines has developed a leak, which requires isolation, and the second line requires isolation to fully decommission the unused waterline. Strathcona County operates a 6-inch water supply line that services both lines, as well as the Sunridge Ski Area. This main supply line is currently shut off. The exact size and condition of the two water lines are unknown. PROJECT OBJECTIVE: The objective of this project is to locate, expose, and permanently cap the two underground water service lines coming off the water main close to the water main. Refer to the RFQ document for additional information and complete scope of work.
