University of Calgary - Advanced Contract Award Notice / Notice of Proposed Procurement - Academic Strategic Quantum Consultancy

The University of Calgary (UCalgary) intends to award a service contract to Michael Duschenes Productions Inc. for academic strategic quantum consulting services. The vendor has been supporting UCalgary’s VP Research Office on Quantum Initiatives, including contributing to the foundational design of the Quantum Horizons Alberta initiative, leading preliminary ecosystem mapping across internal and external stakeholders, supporting early-stage donor relations and philanthropic strategy development, and monitoring the initial evolution of Canada’s National Quantum Strategy. The VP Research Office requires a new contract with the vendor to transition these insights into the next phase. The scope of work focuses on providing high-level strategic advice, ecosystem mapping, and planning support to advance UCalgary’s position within the provincial and national quantum sectors. It is UCalgary’s intention to establish a one-year agreement, with a one-year renewal option, with Michael Duschenes Productions Inc.
