Sturgeon County - Pre-qualification Request - Hired Equipment Services

The County is seeking to pre-qualify suppliers for Hired Equipment Services. “Hired Equipment Services” are considered to be equipment plus operator. The RFSQ is targeted to contractors with the necessary prequalification’s that can provide equipment and operators at hourly rates. The following list is an example of frequently requested hired equipment by the County. • Gravel trucks (with and without pups, belly dumps) • Water trucks • Gradall • Track Excavators • Packers (rubber, vibratory steel, padfoot) • Street Sweepers • Brush Mowers (hydro-axe, stump grinders) • Small Dozers (D4 to D6-wide pad) • Hydro-vac trucks tractors (all-wheel drive) • Tractor Trailers (for hauling heavy equipment) • Miscellaneous Equipment (as required by the County) • Towing Services (tow trucks, lowboys, etc.) Note: 1. RFSQ 2024-002 was first published by the County on Alberta Purchasing Connection and the County’s e-Submission portal, on November 26, 2024, with a Closing Date of February 11, 2025, at 2:00:00 PM local time. 2. RFSQ 2024-002 was then re-posted on Alberta Purchasing Connection on February 13, 2025. 3. The County is now re-posting RFSQ 2024-002 for transparency and to update various requirements. 4. Respondents that were prequalified under the first two postings, do not need to re-submit documentation.
