University of Calgary - Advanced Contract Award Notice / Notice of Proposed Procurement - Specialized Analytical Chemistry and Toxicology Laboratory Services

The University of Calgary (UCalgary) intends to award a service contract to Vogon Laboratory Services Ltd. to provide laboratory services in support of the Alberta Centre for Toxicology (ACFT), which delivers public health testing services for the Alberta Government (AG). Vogon Laboratory Services (VLS) brings extensive analytical chemistry and toxicology expertise, relevant industry experience, and professional memberships. VLS has developed and supported existing analytical chemistry and toxicology methods, understands ACFT’s instrumentation and testing requirements, and provides specialized method development, troubleshooting, training, and research support for public-health toxicology work. ACFT requires VLS’s services to maintain continuity and ensure technical compatibility. It is UCalgary’s intention to establish a three-year agreement, with two one-year renewal options, with Vogon Laboratory Services Ltd.
