Lac La Biche County - Request for Proposal - LLBC McArthur Park Destination Art Feature

Lac La Biche County invites qualified proponents to submit proposals to design, engineer, fabricate, supply and install a distinctive destination art feature in McArthur Park in the hamlet of Lac La Biche, Alberta. The feature is intended to become a recognizable landmark, gathering point and photo opportunity for residents and visitors.The County is seeking a qualified proponent to create a distinctive three-dimensional landmark or public-art feature that incorporates the words “Lac La Biche” or the initials “LLB.” The feature should clearly communicate place, complement the park’s lakefront setting and remain attractive, safe and functional throughout the year. The County welcomes original and non-conventional concepts. Examples may include sculptural lettering, an artistic landmark, integrated seating or viewing elements, or another creative form that provides a strong destination and photo experience.
