Communications and Public Engagement - Pre-qualification Request - CPE27-558-MA Translation Services

The Province’s Communications and Public Engagement (CPE) department requires translation services to be provided on an “as-needed” basis, with no guarantee of work. Translation services may be required to support routine government communications, emergency notifications, and crisis communications. The department’s operational requirements necessitate timely and reliable access to translation services, including near-immediate support during emergencies and rapidly evolving situations, which may occur outside regular business hours (including evenings, weekends, and statutory holidays). Given the time-sensitive nature of these communications, this PQR reflects an enhanced scope by explicitly incorporating emergency and crisis communication requirements. Proponents are expected to demonstrate the capacity, availability, and responsiveness required to support urgent communications where delays may impact media response, public safety messaging, and overall government credibility.
