Rocky View County - Pre-qualification Request - RFPQ 26-007- Hwy 1A Lochend Intersection Improvement Final

This Request for Pre-Qualification (“RPQ”) is an invitation by the Rocky View County of (the “County”) to prospective respondents to qualify in accordance with Evaluation of Responses (Part 2) for eligibility to provide the Highway 1A and Highway 766 (Lochend Road) Intersection Improvement and Signalization as further described in Part 4 (Major Components). Rocky View County is soliciting responses from Contractors interested in becoming pre-qualified to bid for the: Grading, Culvert Installation, Granular Base Course, Concrete Work, Asphalt Concrete Pavement, Traffic Signals, Signage, Pavement Markings, and Other Works for Highway 1a & Highway 766 (Lochend Road) Intersection. Rocky View County (County) is working in partnership with Transportation and Economic Corridors (TEC) to upgrade and signalize the intersection along Highway 1A. The intersection upgrade is located on Highway 766 (Lochend Road), four miles west of the City of Calgary limits (12 Mile Coulee Road). The County will be administering the Contract for the Work. The work will consist of adding appropriate acceleration and deceleration lanes, concrete islands, full signalization and street lighting. These upgrades are required to provide safe passage for all commuters in the area.
