23-1600 CPS Supply, Delivery, Implementation and Support of an Investigative Search Tool

1. This RFP is open to all interested vendors. 2. The City of Calgary (The City) requires Supply, Delivery, Implementation and Support of an Investigative Search Tool for The Calgary Police Service. 3. This procurement process is not intended to create, and, will not create, a formal, legally binding bidding process. It will instead be governed by the law applicable to direct commercial negotiations. 4. The term of the Agreement will be for an initial term of three (3) years. It is anticipated that Phase One of the Agreement will be completed within the initial award term before transitioning to Phase two. Phase one will also include a Proof of Concept (PoC) of approximately sixty (60) days upon execution of the agreement. The PoC will consist of testing in a controlled live environment for the entire system processes from creation to audit and reporting. See Appendix F for more information about the PoC. The agreement may be renewed to facilitate ongoing maintenance and support outlined in Phase Two for a period of three (3) years. This term may be renewed for two (2) additional three (3) year term, not to exceed a maximum of twelve years (12) for both Phase 1 and 2.
