Hinton Training Centre Janitorial / Housekeeping Services

The Hinton Training Centre (HTC) is operated by the Department of Forestry, Parks and Tourism. HTC develops and delivers professional technical training programs for employees of the Forestry Division. In addition, HTC delivers workshops, conferences and provides meeting spaces to a variety of clients. The facility has an academic building (classroom, offices and gymnasium) two residence buildings (including a fitness room, lounges, laundry rooms and kitchenettes.), a forestry museum, a warehouse and a commercial kitchen/dining room that can accommodate 10,000+ clients annually. The Province requires janitorial and housekeeping services to be provided at HTC. Services are required for all buildings on site. Janitorial Services will consist of cleaning of all common client spaces, washrooms, classrooms, offices, lounges, kitchenettes, etc. Housekeeping services will consist of cleaning resident dorm rooms (floors, furniture, and trash removal) upon client “check-out”. Due to the dynamics associated with wildfire management, the successful Proponent will need to be flexible and adaptable to satisfy the needs of the Province.
