Description
The City of Calgary is issuing this RFP for the purpose of retaining a prequalified engineering firm in the category of Subdivision Development for the Riverbend Transit Oriented Development (TOD) project. The City will select a multi-disciplinary integrated project team, led by an engineering firm, to provide all consulting services from subdivision design, construction administration, through to post construction requirements as outlined in this RFP.
The entire Riverbend TOD project consists of Phase 1 (located south of Glenmore Trail, west and north of 24 Street SE, and east of 23A Street), Phase 2 (located south of Glenmore Trail, west of 24 Street and east of the CN mainline, and any possible future/remaining phases related to the land development of City-owned lands located south of 78 Avenue SE, north of 96 Avenue SE, east of 23A Street SE, and west of the Western Headworks Canal.
This project anticipates the following phases to be included in the initial procurement.
• Phase 1 Design
• Phase 1 Construction Procurement and Administration
• Phase 1 Post Construction Services
Additional phases may be at included in the future after initial award at the sole discretion of The City.
Contract duration
The estimated contract period will be 25 month(s), with a proposed start date of 2023/12/01.
