    Description
    The Province’s Wildfire Management Branch operates 13 airtanker bases throughout Alberta to support wildfire operations. During times of increased wildfire activity, one (1) or more airtanker base(s) may require Jet A aircraft refueling services in addition to their regular service. The additional Jet A refueling service will only be required during periods of increased fire activity; and/or when a large number of airtanker and birddog aircraft are positioned at the same airtanker base. The successful Proponent shall provide Jet A Mobile Airport Aviation Refueling Truck (MAART) services on an “as-needed” basis with no guarantee of work, for deployment to one (1), or more of the 13 designated airtanker bases in Alberta. Each MAART will report to the appropriate ATBS, or designate while deployed. One (1) Contract will be awarded under this competition, and the successful Proponent must be capable of supplying a minimum of three (3) MAART units and three (3) qualified driver/operators simultaneously.

    The estimated contract period will be 36 month(s), with a proposed start date of 2023/03/01.
