    Description
The department requires a NIR analyzer to create novel calibration curves and a preferred wider range of spectra. NIR analyzers depend on calibration curves that relate light spectra to forage parameters. The department will also be coordinating with other laboratories in Canada already using the same unit to ensure data standardization. The NIR Analyzer from FOSS is the recognized standard for NIR Forage Analysis and uses a broader spectral range (400nm-2500nm) that is critical for this exploratory work.
