The University of Calgary intends to purchase the Sony Biotechnology Inc.
ID 7000 Cell Analyzer with service contract which will be used for a longitudinal trial that requires the ability to standardize the reading across different days on trial patients and ease for working with reference groups.
To the university research lab’s knowledge, Sony’s instrument is the only system that has specific technical capabilities that meet all the requirements for the research.
