    Description
The City of Calgary is seeking to retain an expert consultant to assess and submit evidence relating to the environmental risks regulated natural gas distribution utilities face in Alberta. The consultant will be expected to participate as an expert witness for the City of Calgary as it relates to Generic Cost of Capital (GCOC) proceedings that are expected to be held by the Alberta Utilities Commission (AUC). Other proceedings and environmental regulatory matters may arise as well. The Consultant will be called upon on an on needed basis on behalf of The City of Calgary at multiple regulatory proceedings held by the AUC. The maximum duration of the initial agreement is five years, following which a sustained need for this work would lead to a new RFP process that reflects any updated requirements.
