Aircraft Casual Hire - Lands Division

This Pre-Qualification Request (PQR) is issued by the Province to create a Source List capable of providing casual hire aircraft (Rotary Wing and Fixed Wing) to Alberta Forestry and Parks Lands Division for a range of activities such as: • Inspection of disposition (leases and other land uses) locations that are remote and or inspection of multiple locations within a defined timeframe. • Collection of information to assist with development, implementation and monitoring of Land and Recreation Management Strategies. • Response to emergent situations such as fires, floods and a wide range of public, industry and commercial incidents. • Lands Division and Regulatory Assurance Division (RAD) regulatory and compliance activities. • Other land management activities and recreation projects. Aircraft will be needed for individual engagements of a day or less as well as engagements (projects) that may span several days, weeks and months. Qualified vendors will be eligible for engagements on an as required basis and at the sole discretion of the Province. It is anticipated that more than 75 hours of flight time will be required on an annual basis. Vendors which are qualified pursuant to this PQR are not guaranteed any volume of work subsequent to this PQR as all work will be on an “as required basis”. Vendors may be assessed at the conclusion of each engagement by the Province to evaluate performance and continued qualification on the resource list.
