Description
Mental Health and Addiction’s (MHA) mandate includes developing vertical assets to support the implementation of the “Alberta Model” of addiction and mental health care for adults and youth. Specifically, this includes development of at least 18 facilities: 11 recovery communities, five adult mental wellness centres, and two youth mental wellness centres.
The development of these assets responds to a critical need to provide supports and services to Albertans experiencing addiction and mental health issues.
MHA is initiating a Capital Development Program (CDP) to ensure the timely and successful completion of these projects. Successful CDP implementation requires services of a Development Support Contractor to augment existing MHA and Infrastructure capacity to coordinate many non-construction activities related to capital projects. The Services provided will enable MHA and Infrastructure to expedite work on the facilities while ensuring the requisite expertise is available to support high-quality deliverables and assets.
Contract duration
The estimated contract period will be 14 month(s), with a proposed start date of 2024/01/18.
