Description
BC Ministry of Forests seed orchards grow and harvest cones to supply seed for reforestation. The harvested cones require interim on-site storage before shipment for processing. The Ministry is seeking professional engineering design services for developing an appropriate storage solution to replace the currently used systems.
The Province seeks to engage professional consultation services from a survey firms, engineers, and other professionals who are familiar with the design & construction of warehouse and agricultural product storage facilities. The Seed Production Section will engage professional consultation for the design of new cone bays to meet site storage needs with current increased production that exceeds existing storage space. The requested design should be modular/able to be assembled and disassembled as needed and provide adequate environmental conditions and to ensure compliance with all relevant local & national building and safety codes.
