BC Emergency Health Services (BCEHS) intends to enter into direct negotiations and purchase from its pre-qualified supplier Willetts Contracting (2004) Ltd. (Supplier) a 60KW Dual feed Eaton UPS for delivery and receipt for integration as part of BC Emergency Health Services – Patient Transfer Services expansion project. The value of this purchase is between $150,000.00 and $200,000.00 plus tax.
BCEHS has chosen to negotiate and purchase a 60KW Dual feed Eaton UPS directly for the following reasons:

The value of this purchase is between $150,000.00 and $200,000.00 plus tax.
BCEHS has chosen to negotiate and purchase a 60KW Dual feed Eaton UPS directly for the following reasons:
- An existing Eaton UPS exists on site that services other program areas and the electrical consultant has recommended that an Eaton UPS be used for the expansion project to keep consistency in servicing;
- Supplier commitment to deliver the UPS unit by May 1, 2023, or sooner.
- Timely delivery of the UPS is required for the expansion to accommodate new dispatch workstations that operate 24/7 year-round;
- Eaton has qualified maintenance and service personnel who are familiar with the site operations;
- The successful Supplier will provide the required Consent of Surety issued by a surety company registered to transact business in the Province of British Columbia;
- The successful Supplier will provide the required insurance and assurances for equipment purchase, transit, installation, warranty which includes Comprehensive Commercial General Liability insurance coverage in an amount not less than $5,000,000.00 inclusive per occurrence against bodily injury, personal injury and property damage.
